The Technology

The Swiss screw machine is an automatic lathe that creates precision small diameter parts by simultaneously manipulating the material and cutting tools. Bar stock is fed through a guide bushing, and turned while cutting tools sculpt the required geometry, resulting in very exact tolerances.
